Everything we formulate is designed to support the hair long-term, using ingredients that work with your natural structure, not against it.

Why Australian botanicals

Australia is home to some of the harshest and most diverse environments in the world.
From arid deserts to coastal regions and rainforests, native plants have adapted to survive extreme conditions — retaining moisture, protecting themselves, and remaining resilient.

These are the qualities we look for in our formulations.

By using carefully selected Australian botanicals, we focus on ingredients that support:

  • moisture balance
  • strength
  • softness
  • and long-term hair health

What we don’t use

We don’t rely on ingredients that coat, build up, or disrupt your hair over time.

You won’t find:

  • Silicones
  • Sulfates
  • Heavy Coconut oil or coconut-derived butters
  • Shea butter

These ingredients can create temporary results, but often lead to dryness, imbalance, and buildup with continued use.

What we choose instead

We formulate with lightweight, nutrient-dense ingredients that support real results:

  • Quandong — known for its nourishing and restorative properties

For scalp health, we incorporate essential oils such as:

  • Lemon myrtle

Australian Blue Cypress (Natural)

Used in our Cleanse (Gentle Shampoo), Blue Cypress is known for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. It supports scalp health as part of our blend of purifying and calming essential oils.

Benzoic Acid (Nature-derived)

Part of our preservative system, helping to maintain product safety and stability.

Behentrimonium Methosulfate & Cetearyl Alcohol (Nature-derived)

A gentle conditioning emulsifier that gives our Hydrate (Conditioner) its creamy texture and detangling ability, while improving softness and manageability.

Caprylic Acid (Derived)

Derived from coconut or palm sources, this supports our preservative system and overall formula stability.

Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides (Derived)

A lightweight emollient that helps smooth the hair surface, reduce moisture loss, and improve softness without heaviness.

Cetearyl Alcohol (Derived)

A fatty alcohol used to stabilise and thicken formulations, while adding slip and a smooth, conditioned feel to the hair.

Dehydroxanthan Gum (Natural)

A key component in our Nourish (Styling Gel), helping create defined, long-lasting curl structure with excellent reactivation for second- and third-day refresh.

Gluconolactone (Natural)

Derived from corn, this forms part of our gentle preservative system.

Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (Derived)

A conditioning agent that enhances softness, slip, and manageability, leaving hair smooth and easy to detangle.

Hydrolysed Oats (Natural)

Helps support hydration and softness, while contributing to overall formula texture.

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (Natural)

A plant-derived thickener that provides structure to formulations without leaving a sticky or heavy residue.

Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil (Natural)

Magnesium Sulfate (Natural)

Also known as Epsom salt, this helps enhance curl formation and definition, making it a key ingredient in our styling gel.

A styling polymer that delivers hold and structure while maintaining a soft, touchable finish.

Nerolina Essential Oil (Natural)
